Be The Church Ministry

This is a great deal more than a "Church Program!" This is our Mission Statement, "Don't Just Go To Church, BE The Church!" This is a church wide ministry - working with our CARE / Cell Groups - where the whole body of believers have the opportunity to use their specific gifts, talents and abilities to reach out to our community and demonstrate the tangible love of Christ by taking on multiple service projects. For instance we will go into an elderly or disabled persons home and paint some rooms, repair roofs, clean yards, repair fences, put on new roofs, landscape a local schools property, have a blanket and sock drive for the homeless or have a baby shower for unwed mothers. We also sponsor individuals who need someone to do their monthly grocery and medicine pick ups as they are physically unable to leave their homes. Again, it is our "Mission" to show our Community that Christ Jesus is alive and still working in these modern times by continuing to show compassion on those that are in need. To be on one of these teams you do not have to have an ability just "Availability" to serve!

In addition to the food donations that we are taking up monthly for Christ Chapel Share & Care Mission, we stock a "modest" food pantry here at Grace. As individuals come in needing physical nourishment, we offer them food to meet their immediate need. Below is a list of nonperishable items we have on hand.
